Detroit Lions Win Total Prediction
I looked at the Detroit Lions, where hopes are high for this season as they are predicted to win the division for the first time since 1993, when the NFC North was called the NFC Central. Their win total is set at 9.5 this season with the over being set at -122 and the under at +100. Looking at their schedule they have four games against the NFC South which is arguably the worst division in football. They also have four games against the AFC West and those will be tough games. Looking at their depth chart it is unappealing to me I think they are an average roster. But given their division and some of the other matchups they have this season, I like Lions over 9.5 at -122.
Minnesota Vikings Win Total Prediction
Despite their impressive-looking record of 13-4 last season, it can be argued that the Minnesota Vikings success was somewhat misleading. Out of their 13 victories, a staggering 11 were decided by a single score, and Kirk Cousins orchestrated eight fourth-quarter comebacks, tying the NFL record for most comebacks in a single season. As we analyze their prospects for the upcoming season, it’s worth noting that oddsmakers have set their win total at 8.5. The over option carries a price of -142, while the under option is priced at +116 at FanDuel. Looking at their schedule, the Vikings are projected to be underdogs in nine of their games. Given their reliance on winning close games last season, it seems unlikely that they will experience the same level of luck this time around. The team has suffered some losses during the off-season, including notable players such as Adam Thielen and Eric Kendricks. Sean has more insights and betting angles in the Vikings in the video below.
Chicago Bears Win Total Prediction
After winning just three games last season the Bears win total this season is set at 7.5 with the over being set at -112 and the under set at -108. This line tells us that the books do not think that the Bears will regress this season. Coming into this season they are projected to have the second worst offensive line in the league, only behind the Seattle Seahawks. Justin Fields has thrown almost as many picks as he has touchdowns in his career with 24 touchdowns to 21 interceptions. We also question if Fields will be able to stay healthy for an entire season considering he has not been able to so far. Is he a guy you can count on to play all 17 games? Their strength of schedule is favorable, but we don’t really see the talent on that team to help them win games, especially with having one of the worse offensive lines in the NFL. Jesse is looking at the under for the Bears win total and has winning insights in the video above. Make sure to watch all of his betting tips.
